CELEBRATION OF A DECADE OF Primary Healthcare: Open Access

Journal of Primary Healthcare: Open Access the official publication of Family Medicine and Primary Care Trust, seeks to foster academic communication and interdisciplinary research among primary care providers engaged in various forms. The journal publishes original article on clinical studies, theories and policies related the academic discipline of family medicine and primary care.

Periodicity: The journal was launched in January 2011 as an online and print quarterly issue. After steady progress from 2019, the journal is published on a quarterly basis; both online as well as in print form.  

Scope of the Journal:

The journal aims to focus on the recent developments in the health care beyond the simple medical treatment by involving family and community. To this extent the journal encompasses a wide spectrum of topics in fields including Family Practice, Palliative care, Community-health, Prenatal Care, Perioperative nursing, Healthcare and Prevention, Multimorbidity, Comorbidity, Polypharmacy, Quality of life, Sexual Health, Pain Management, Mental health, Primary care medicine, Medical education, Primary care epidemiology, Clinical management, Public Health and Safety.

Editor-in-Chief: Chia Tung Shun

Chia-Tung Shun is professor in Department and Institute of Forensic Medicine in National Taiwan University in Taiwan. He has attended for many conferences and he has submitted many presentations in different backgrounds like Intragenic homozygous deletions of MTS1 gene in gastric cancer in Taiwan. Overexpression of MUC5 genes is associated with early post-operative metastasis in non-small-cell lung cancer.
